Turn your clocks foward one hour Sat night!

Do you think this will mess up your kiddo's routine at all for the days following the change?

Even thought I hate missing an hour of sleep, my kids adjust MUCH better to the time change in the spring vs the fall.

Good question. It hasn't really seemed to phase her the past couple of times that the time has changed. We'll see, I guess!

DST always messes up their sleep schedules..so I'm sure there will be an adjustment period.

I usually adjust slowly, 15 minutes at a time so there's no big difference.

They usually don't affect her, but her sleep schedule has been out of whack since daddy came home. So I will probably keep her up extra late so she will sleep to a decent time.

My kids adjust better in the Spring than in the Fall. I really wish that DST wouldn't happen at all but we try to do 15 minutes adjustment every other day so we slowly move their bed time. The adjustment in 15 minute increments was DH's suggestion because that's how they dealt with DST when he was home and milking cows for his parents.

Our change to DST was a nightmare this time. We have only another 4 weeks left of DST Not really looking forward to winter this year since it's been a fantastic Summer.

Uh oh!

I was all paranoid this morning about sleeping in...not because of DST, but because my phone is messed up, and that's what I use for my alarm clock. I had DH set an alarm for me, but then I ended up turning it off instead of snoozing it. Blah. But I still managed to get up on time, I think because I was paranoid about it.

Grace has done ok so far...her nap was a little messed up yesterday, but that's partially because I had to drive DH to work, and she fell asleep in the car, and then didn't want to go back to sleep when we got home. But she went to bed at 8:30, which is fairly normal. I don't know what time she woke up today, but yesterday she woke up at 7:00, which is not too abnormal for her. Normal is between 6 & 7.

It hasn't phased the kids at all yet..whew! Addison actually slept until 9 am yesterday & today!

It's totally messed me up though..I wasn't even tired until midnight last night then I could not sleep at ALL..not even an hour. Although the not sleeping at all is mostly because I'm getting sick so I can't breath through my nose & I coughed all night.
