Anyone else experiencing an increase in toddler gibberish at their house? Betsy is becoming quite the gibberish fan -- when she pretends to read a story, when she's just randomly talking -- it's becoming a little bit annoying. I've tried telling her to use her words and that I don't understand what she's saying, but she just continues.

Just curious what's going on in your toddlers' heads.

Chase doesn't really use much gibberish. When he "reads" his books, he usually says some of the words from the story that he remembers.

Of my 3, Teresa definitely babbled/used gibberish the least. When she "reads" it's always Once upon a time, (a word or 2 based on the picture), The End. Every once in awhile she'll use a word than none of us understand though.

When Caleb gets really hyper/excited about telling us something his sentences turn to gibberish.

Yes!! I'm so glad you posted this The past few weeks, I swear Max has made up his own language He'll use babble or just make up random words for things, and then laugh his little head off.
