Nothing is ever good enough for my Mom.
I'm trying not to spend a ton of $ so she's getting a jar of home made granola & maybe some kind of summer accessory. And a card. A store boughten one. Cards the kids make aren't good enough
It will all get mailed & I will call her but not see her.
Gina, wife to Joe...mama to Nathan (8), Brady (7) and Chase (3)
I won't be seeing my mom on mother's day because she doesn't live near me but I'll see her the weekend before so I need to get her a gift & card to give her that weekend. Usually I send her at least a card, usually a gift with it.
Ashley - Wife to Derrick, mommy to Owen-8, Rylan-6 & Addison-3. Baby Nolan is here, born 6/13/13 @ 34 weeks.
i will get her something....but no idea what! we always get her something around $50-100...but probably will stick more around $50 this year...if not less. Every year it seems to get a little bit smaller. It always helped that DH's mom is a nut case and we didnt buy her anything....so my mom got the whole budget.
~~wipes tear from eye~~~ i don't have a living mommy any more .....i used to, of course, get her a gift. now, i usually take my daughter and DIL's out for a mani/pedi date. not sure this year though -- haven't really thought about it.

We usually either take her out to lunch or cook lunch for her. Plus a card. She's hard to buy gifts for, but if I can come up with something, I'll get it...but it's tough. For MIL we usually fail...DH is seriously the worst at that stuff, and by the time we think about it, it's too late to mail something. And she's the type to get offended and give guilt trips.
