Now that the kids are on summer break Amber has been a very hard sell on actually going to sleep. Anybody have any suggestions?

Room darkening blinds for most of the house so you can make it dark enough for winding down. Routines help us the most - Dallas still goes to bed at 7 most nights!

We have a routine, and the house is dark, so those aren't the issues. Summer just has them all fighting to stay up. Driving me nuts. But we have had some events getting them up earlier in the past couple weeks, and that has helped some at least!

No suggestions here, but I can relate. James hasn't been settling down well at night. I think it might be the heat for us. He has a fan in his room, but he doesn't like it on, so his room gets really hot and he is drenched in sweat within minutes. For naptime, I got Leah on board to pretend to go down for a nap too, so James goes right down most afternoons to sleep.

Amber just wants to go have a "sleep over" with the boys...where they sleep and she dances around the room...
