No...though they do preschool stuff at her daycare. We just can't work out the transportation, and since preschool isn't all day, every day, we'd also still have to pay for daycare full time. She might go to 4K next year, but I doubt we can work out preschool.

i am having a very hard time finding an actual preschool for Trey. All of the daycares around here call themselves preschools. I understand that they might have classroom like structure, and that they may offer VPK for 4 year olds...but ultimately, they're daycares. Anything under 4 around here, is daycare. Its an all day, all week schedule. I want something thats like...mon-wed-fri or tues-thurs 9-12 or something like that. Ya know? a school. Drop off, pick up, no "wrap around" care. Its so annoying.
for clarity..there are preschools in pensacola that fit that criteria...but my mom watches them full time right now, and she has to be willing to drive him to school on his school days - all of teh places i found are downtown pensacola, and we actually live just outside of pensacola. so that would be a long drive for her, that i'm not sure she's willing to make.
Eli started a preschool program at a daycare centre in May. He goes Tuesdays and Thursday mornings. We don't have preschool outside daycare here except one program that has a 4 year wait. I had to register him when I found out I was pregnant and I still haven't heard anything. It was supposed to start next year but he needed something sooner. I'm pretty happy with the one he's in and I plan to put him in the daycare full time in September. When he started he had absolutely no social skills with children his own age. He would run circles around other kids and not interact at the playground except for sometimes when he would knock them down and steal their toys! He's only stealing toys occasionally now and will sit still during the entire circle time. He also loves it and only had about 2 days of separation anxiety.
