Okay so we have a wedding this weekend and the first of three ceremonies is tonight. My stuff is all pressed and ready to go. Well, asked DH when I was ironing to get his crap together and he said he gave it all to me (that would be 2 suits, 2 shirts, and anything wrinkled for the tux wearing Sat night). He didn't...not unless going shirtless. And we can't find his tie! Thankfully he had two non-black suits (remember don't want us wearing black to henna painting or ceremony). So I am annoyed about THAT.

Then someone I know sent DH a message asking if I was going to the wedding. He replied yes. Why wouldn't I? And she wrote back it seems inappropriate as I am pregnant and showing! Now she isn't some 80 year old woman with old fashioned state of mind. She is in her early 30s and just a nut. Oh, and not in the wedding (in fact she hasn't met the bride, her DH is friends with the groom). Who do people think they are? DH wrote her back saying he would try to convince me to wear a large sheet to hide our blessing. Love his sarcasm She seems jealous...I don't get people.

Okay back to ironing. Ugh! I am seriously thinking of starching the heck out of his boxers so he can't stand to wear them

Have a great weekend! Will fill you in on how this all goes with my condition and all...God knows it is 2010 not 1810!

I hope you can find your husband's stuff! And that "friend" needs to keep her mouth shut - since when are pregnant women not supposed to go to weddings? She definitely sounds jealous and like she has some issues.

I would've gone off on the lady. I would've sent a message back, and she would not have been a happy camper. Someone needs to be smacked with a trout. '

I hope you find your husband's stuff!!

Also, you do all the ironing? I make my husband iron his own clothes. I'm the "mean wifey" for it, too...

How dare you have the nerve to show your pregnant self in public? WTH?????? I'm glad your husband stood up for you. I loved his response. I hope you have a wonderful time and I can't wait to hear all about it.

I LOVE your husband's response! Guess I shouldn't have shown up to my own wedding, being 16w pregnant and all.

Boo for ironing. I hate ironing. It's my least favorite part of sewing. Thankfully, dh and I never go/get invited to anything fancy, so I haven't had to do non-sewing related ironing since I quit working at Olive Garden right before Trupie was born.

I'm totally confused here. Ya'll had fertility treatments, and alot of them, to create this blessings. So, it's not like it was some accident ( i'm looking at it from a catty persons viewpoint...). Are ya'll not "legally" married? Not that THAT would be some big problem either. I don't understand where she could possibly be comming from? yeesh! That woman definetly sounds jealous.

Oh, and I get serously annoyed with DH acting like he's is completely incapable of ironing his own clothing. The fact that he couldn't even keep track of his clothing and have them ready for me to iron... Starch his boxers.... alot... perhaps put a nice burn mark over the crotch. lol
