When is your first prenatal appt? How far along will you be?

Mine is Oct 14th - I'll be exactly 6 weeks. Is 6 weeks about average?

ETA: I miscalculated my date...I'll be 6 weeks along, not 7

Not sure yet. I am waiting to get approved for Soonercare so I am guessing about 8 weeks. They said it will take no more than 20 days to get approved.

Mine is Thursday and I'll be just over 5 weeks. But with my first (when there were no concerns) I don't think they wanted to see me until about 9 weeks.

This Friday 10-1. Mine is a confirmation one also. My main fear is that my hubby is in the process of switching jobs and we are moving so I have to quit mine. That means a gap in insurance! Plus, I am afraid they will deny me coverage for a pre-existing. My insurance is done on the 15th, so I am going to ask to see if I can get another appointment on the 14th just to see if they can get a heartbeat.

My first appoinment is Thursday, October 7th. I will be 6 weeks 1 day, though based on LMP I would be 6 weeks 6 days. I am really hoping to see a heartbeat but I am very aware that it may be too early.

I am pretty sure it is illegal to consider pregnancy a pre-existing condition. I am sure there are loopholes, but I think that you are protected by law. If they deny you, definitely fight it.

10/20 I'll be about 8 weeks. In my ob office they see you at 7-8 weeks,
you get an ultrasound first then you see a Dr. All offices are different.

I hope so. Everyone is telling me that they will refuse me insurance. I hope they are wrong!
