Mine was 13 at 5 weeks. They had fallen from 20 from a few days before, which concerned the doctor who was handling it while my doctor was away, so I was prescribed 200mg of progesterone (suppositories) daily, and at my next check my levels were back up to 23. When I went back in and was able to talk to my doctor, he wasn't a bit concerned about the drop, and told me he was more of an "HCG guy" and wasn't too concerned about progesterone levels. But the nurse I talked to when my level was down to 13 and the doctor she works with were concerned enough to order the supplements for me.

If I were you, I would ask your doctor what he/she thinks about that, and maybe check into getting on some supplements. I obviously don't know a lot, and everything is probably just fine. I just know that I was basically made to panic when mine were at 13. They do like them to be higher.

Good luck!! Keep us posted!

I may call tomorrow to see if I can talk to the dr. about it or have them rechecked. I have had some pink spotting last Thurs, yesterday, and a little when I got home from work today.

I don't want to freak anyone out so I won't divulge too much info, but progesterone is VERY important in sustaining a pregnancy.

With my first pg I was on clomid and had nice, high levels so no supps were necessary.
My 2nd pg (m/c) I was not on clomid but still had good levels so was not prescribed anything. I later went on to m/c and my levels had dropped to 17 from 49. Not sure if it's b/c the baby died or if the baby died b/c the level dropped.
My third pg (m/c) I was on clomid and had good levels but had a blighted ovum.
This time around I was not on clomid but started taking 200mg right away and my levels went from 25 unmedicated to 67 medicated.

All that to say, it's hard to go by one number without anything to compare it to. I would definitely ask your doctor to do a repeat and discuss the supps. As my OB told me, it doesn't hurt to take progesterone, so why not do it for your own peace of mind.

BTW, I am now 5w,2d. I won't get a ticker until after the horrid first u/s.
