We used a 1.7 lb chuck roast and put it in a large crock pot.
In a mixing bowl I mixed 1 can of Campbells Cream of Mushroom with GARLIC (this I believe is a must), 2 tbs of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 tbs of steak sauce (we used A-1), 1 packet of dry ranch dipping sauce, 1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix, 1 cup of water- stir up and I threw over the roast.
Then I used 2 bags of frozen carrots, lots of fresh celery, a large onion, and 2 1/2 lbs of red potatoes cut pretty large, 6 cloves of garlic, salt and pepper.
We cooked it on low for about 10 hours? We just turned it off and we need it hot for a family gathering at 2 so we may turn it back on it we notice it loosing heat.

I am going to try this. My dh is really picky so I am not sure that he will like it but it sounds yummy to me. I'll just have to hide the ingredients so he doesn't know what I'm putting in the crock pot. LOL.
