I guess my pigging out has really caught up with me!

According to my scale at home, I've gained just about 10 lbs in the last 3-4 weeks. I'll get a better idea at my appointment next Tuesday, since I only know what my starting weight was on their scale but I won't be surprised if it shows the same result.

I am not too worried, since I didn't gain more than 2 lbs between the beginning of my pregnancy and about 16 weeks, so I guess I am just catching up.

I'm glad I'm not the only one gaining weight now! I've been seeing all the posts and everyone is saying they haven't gained a pound... jeez! Not that I'm jealous (ok, maybe a little bit) but I'm up 6lbs at 19 weeks and have the whole weight anxiety thing going on lately. I know its nothing to worry about unless I'm out of control, but it freaks me out watching my weight go up for some reason!

Hehe aww.... I think a bit of extra weight gain is our preogative in the second trimester... at least that is how I am justifying it!

I never use a scale at home, but I have an appointment next Thursday so we shall see if I get the hand-slap for weight gain. What can I say.... Edy's Eggnog icecream is back and the baby is calling for it!

I feel the same way! I hate seeing that number go up and up...... Logically I know a lot of the weight is in my chest and uterus... (went from34B to 38C and still growing....) I just have some body issues and any kind of weight gain freaks me out..

I was already bigger when I got pregnant, so I'm just taking all my gaining with a grain of salt. I have changed my eating habits to find something healthier, but it's hard since I was barely starting to do that when I found out I was preggers... I figured it was best to not throw my body into shock by denying my usual food addictions with a drastic change. That's how I justify it.

Yeah my scale at home is totally different than the scale at the Dr's office so I won't be able to tell how much I have gained until I go see them. I have my days where I completely pig out but I just started working out again so I can get myself ready for labor. Nothing too hard core just some walking and weights to keep tone. Hopefully it will help offset the weight that is not necessary for the baby.

I gained like that with DD... I'm a little afraid to go back home next week after vacationing in NY and FL these past 2 weeks. I ate all sorts of good stuff at my family's house (they wanted to make all my favorites) and now I think I may have gained a lot. I really don't want to gain much at all with this kiddo.
