I was told at 16 weeks with my first. However, i am going for a gender determination exam @ 15 weeks. The tech said that is the earliest and they have much experience in this area... so we will see.

The babies Gender develops around week 13. I have too friends find out at 13 weeks that they were both having boys. I have heard if you are having a boy they can tell earlier. I have a Ultrasound set up for 15 weeks so I am hoping they can tell then. If not I will probably have another around 20 weeks. For the most part after the bits have developed it all depends on if the baby is willing to show. On Baby Center .com if you look up week 15 they say now some people can start seeing what they are having if the baby shows.

I go to my high risk for my vists and ultrasounds and the ultrasound tech said by 14 weeks you can tell if it is going to be a boy ,but for girl more around 15/16 weeks . I was 15 weeks and 3 days with Kaetlin and then We made for sure at her 20 week ultrasound, WIth a normal pregnancy 20 weeks is about average
