Most places say every 4 weeks at first, then every 2 weeks, and then once a week for the end.

I'm going next week, and then not again for 5 weeks. then not again for 6 weeks. and I probably won't go back for 6 weeks after that. (which would put me at week 29 then) and when they want every 2 my plan is I'll go every 3 (if that) and at the end I'll go every 10 days at most...

any one else, or will you go on their recommended schedule?

(disclaimer, of course if something is up with baby then I'll be in more often, but if everything is fine I'm sure I won't)

Nope I go at the time they recommend. No reason not to. I just make all of my appts at night so I can go after work & when DH is home to watch Allie (or bring her)

It will depend on their schedule. I will try to keep it as close to recommended as possible, though. Mostly for my peace of mind!

I will go whenever they let me, with my record I want all the constant reassurance I can get.

I won't, especially near the end. At first I will probably go once a month, but when most doctors would usually schedule them every 2 weeks, I'll probably skip that and go 4 weeks again, then every 2 weeks after that. I don't see a reason to go every week at the end and my midwives don't recommend going that often as long as we are both healthy.

We will see what the midwife recommends. I know at 36 weeks we have a home visit.

I went for the "big" things..... first heartbeat check 12 weeks, GD test wasn't that about 18 weeks?! LOL, Anatomy u/s scan 22 weeks, then I'm pretty good at the end once baby is "viable". So I'm more of an every 6 weeks till the end.

I am going at the recommend schedule for me. I am a high risk pregnancy. First I have Multiple Sclerosis and second with this baby they found a 6mm black spot near the baby and called it threatened abortion. I have to be seen like weekly for right now to make sure baby is doing ok. Then I have to see a specialist because of my MS

I'm going as they schedule me which is the typical recommended schedule. I figure that I'm already paying the $500 out of pocket (after insurance) for the 13 visits so I may as well go to them! Plus I like going to hear the heart beat and stuff.

Lol, well I haven't even had an appointment yet :0 but once I start I will go on schedule. Speaking of which I'm going to go rebook an appointment now.
