With my son, i was put on terbutaline for an irritable uterus(and 2x's a week NST's) to stop early contractions but in the end he wouldn't come out(willingly) anyway! Anyway, i am getting contractions(maybe braxton hicks?) already....and i am only 10w2d! If I make a quick body movement or my pants are too tight my whole uterus tightens up and becomes an odd hard shape. I hated that medicine and pray i do not have to go on it this early. I go to the Dr tomorrow and will find out. Even though i am early, there is no doubt what i am feeling. My mom and Dh can feel it as it is contracting. Anyone else feeling this?

We had a similar issue with the terb and had to have pitocin to get through labor. I haven't had any contractions, and I hope yours settle down so you don't have to be on terb long term!

I am. I feel it mild though. I was relaxing watching TV last night realizing that I was breathing to help with what I was feeling. I couldn't believe it as I have never had it this early before. It was a very strange feeling and I thought I was going crazy.

I had braxton hicks at about 10 weeks with my last pregnancy. I remember because I thought it was weird I had them that early and I asked the doctor.

She said that it's more typical the more pregnancies you have for them to start earlier and earlier.

I have been getting BH too. They aren't often, but there is no mistaking them at all. I hope you don't end up on meds!
