I have a yeast infection that never went away,I was perscribed monistat, now I am perscribed fluconazole generic for diflucan 150mg and I have take one pill every week for 2 weeks! Is this medicine safe to take during pregnancy?
There are also natural treatments than can help you get rid of it. The most common would be probiotics, which you can get anywhere. I keep a bottle of acidophilus for both me and my girls in the fridge to take after we have a stomach bug or if I notice signs of a yeast infection. You can increase the dosage initially and then reduce it to what is recommended on the bottle (1/day usually) to keep the yeast from coming back.
