I see a dark spot that could be another sac, but no baby, so it's really hard to tell. Was it a good quality u/s machine and was it vaginal or belly?

I know your u/s is being done by a friend...it may be awkward..but at 8wks you'd be much better off with a transvaginal one, then you'd see for sure how many are in there. In the first one it just looks like a baby with a yolk sac. And the dark spot could be another sac but its hard to tell with the picture. When will you have another ultrasound? Good luck!

Yeah they really need to do a vaginal one this early on especially if trying to confirm twins!

My friend did a belly ultrasound and did give me a heads up that the machine was a bit "Grainy" also, that it might be too early depending how far I really am (which I still wont know until my appt monday.)

My friend is going to give me another one on the 24th of this month..hope I'll get another U/S before then. Have any of you seen a yolk sac with a pulse tho??? This "blob" was fluttering when she was scanning it, similar to peanuts heartbeat.
