I was going to wait until after my appointment today to announce we were having twins. I had very high betas and u/s at 6 weeks confirmed 2 sacs, but one was really small and had no fetal pole. u/s at 7 weeks showed Baby A with a heartbeat of 143 and Baby B 96.6. Today Baby A had heart rate of 167 and Baby B didnt show anything, just an empty sac.

We are a little sad, but I am still very happy to pregnant with at least one baby. I was worried something might happen to baby A but was told this has no impact on Baby A and its more common then people think. I was being monitored so I had an early u/s but had I not gone until 9 weeks, we might never have known about baby B.

Hopefully baby A continues to grow and be strong and healthy. I feel so anxious now and wonder what happened to baby B?

I'm sorry for your loss, but praying that Baby A will strive and join your family in September. My bff lost one of her twins at 12 weeks and now has a healthy 4.5 year old (and twin girls that turned 1 last week). Blessings to you.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I also had a friend who lost one of the twins, but the other is now an adorable two year old boy.
