So I just checked a voice mail I had on my phone from yesterday and it was a lady from the doc's office. She said she was calling with my Neo (?) lab results and left the office number....This is my third and I don't remember getting a phone call before about lab results. Has anyone else had someone call if everything was normal? All I had done at my last visit was pee in a cup and had my blood taken for the first time... ??

Ummm......I am not REALLY sure....considering all doctor offices are different. I can tell you from my experience that I had the same you did on my first test and I never received a call......

Personally, I don't think it is anything to be concerned with again, all doctors offices are different......in fact i would like it to be your way if I could have a choice that way you don't worry either way!! Give them a call and keep us posted....I am sure everything is FINE!!! Good Luck!!

Different for each office. And if something is off, they have to let you know even if its just a tad off.

Probably nothing, but I know my office will ask if I want to be called, or wait for my appt (unless it's something that needs to be addressed NOW)

Well I called and apparently I have a bad UTI (She mentioned group B strep in the urine, which is different than the kind they check for later) and she said they called me in an antibiotic, but......I'm really skeptical because I have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever and I've had a UTI while pregnant before. I left a message for the nurse asking if I can retest before I do a strong 7 day antibiotic treatment...at least it wasn't anything else!!

I've had a UTI while pregnant with L, and I never knew at all, it just showed up in the normal urine collection, I've heard that it's very common for that to be the case while pregnant.

Ditto what Ro said...I had a UTI my first pg and never knew it.

Glad you got some answers. My OBs have usually only called if something is off. Usually no news is good news.

Yeah, generally my office only calls if there is a problem with the result. Glad it was just a UTI!

Glad you got that figured out! A UTI is pretty common during early pregnancy. Hope it clears up soon!
