So this was my health service announcement for my 7th grade students today....
The kid that sat in the desk before you, coughed, sneezed, slobbered, blew snot, spit and wiped dirty things on your desk. You are now sitting in their germs. Please take this opportunity to remember to wash your hands... more than once, and longer than 2 seconds. While germs can't leap on you, you must transfer them into your own body. Therefore, quit wiping your nose with your arm, quit rubbing your eyes, quit sleeping and slobbering in someone elses slobber." WASH YOUR HANDS!
Needless to say, everyone was grossed out and ran to get my germ ex. I told them proper hand washing was enough.
In my son's class, one has bronchitis, two have flu, and one has strep. My son has fever and runny nose... UGH!
Literally my trash can is overflowing with snot tissues!!!!! It makes me want to vomit.
