Any BTDT moms have experience with Safety 1st?
In my research of finding a great carseat for nat i've become stuck between wanting to get a graco myride of a safety 1st seat. a lot of people recommend both and really like both.

The twins will be going straight into Myride65s. I am not a fan of baby buckets...to many kids spend WAY to much time in them. We like to carry and wear our babies when out.

Also money wise it makes so much sense...spend money on a good seat that will get you to around 4 or 5 years old before having to spend more money on a carseat.

Oh and the Britax convertiable seats are not recommened for infants and do NOT work for them...remember Rear facing the straps have to be at or BELOW the shoulders and even a very large newborn would NOT meant that!!! So they can't be used for a newborn.

I was looking at the Maxi Cosi Mico. But after reading the reviews, I am now leaning towards Britax Chaperone or the Chicco KeyFit 30, which both have great reviews...the KeyFit just has better colors! I also like the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio.
don't go with the maxi cosi! A bunch of my friends have it and hated it. I have the graco snugride platinum and the Britax Marathon for when they're older. Love them both!

We used a Chico Keyfit 30 for the infant seat and have a Britax for the toddler seat... both are great!

I agree but the Britax seats are fine for newborn (most of them, unless they are very small). The new ones have knobs and the straps go down very low. They don't have the standard slots for the straps like the older models. I used to be a certified car seat technician. I have 9 pound babies and they've always looked fine in them and fit well. I can't say how they would be for a smaller baby but mine have always been fine.
