Even though it's early?!

I found an Arm's Reach co-sleeper at the kids consignment store today, which is one of the FEW things I need to buy for this baby. It's only $54, and I get a 10% military discount! I didn't buy it today because I'm getting money in my account tomorrow...but I put it on hold. I feel kind of silly because I'm only 8 weeks, but I mean come on, you can't pass up that kind of deal right??

Oh, forgot to add that on Amazon it would be around $160 new.

Definitely. Some things just don't make financial sense to pass on.

I got a Medela Freestyle breast pump for $140!!!! Was only used by one woman for less than 4 months. Even with paying for the replacement parts, it is an amazing deal (regularly $350). Now I can compare it to my PIS Advanced later on.

Yeah if it's a good deal and gender neutral I totally would.

Yeah it's kind of a beige color with white polka dots Not a big deal because it's just going to go by the side of our bed.
I think I'll go back and get it tomorrow then I still MIGHT buy a new carseat/stroller but that wouldn't be till later, so all we need now is a bed for DS so the new baby can use the crib, and clothes of course!

I have a few things that someone gave to me, but I haven't bought anything yet. I probably would if it was a good deal, though.

I would TOTALLY buy it. I'm planning on getting one too & would kill to find a deal like that! I wanted to get one last time but DH said it was ugly & since we knew absolutely nothing about anything, we passed it up. I kick myself to this day. It would've been one less thing to buy now!

when the good deals come around, and you just know you want it and it's a good price, I say get it (if you can afford it, that is).

I've bought a few clearance outfits, but am trying to stay away from buying too many large purchases. We are supposed to be going through the stuff of Joey's aunt's because she had a baby last year who is turning 1 this month. There's lots of hand-me down type stuff, but there are some things that we want to purchase "new" for ourselves that will be used for our next baby. Plus my mom is already going crazy buying stuff so I will let her buy whatever she wants, LOL.

But yes...good deal, go get it!

For sure. I can't resist a good deal. If it's something I can find later, probably on sale, then I avoid. But if it's something I can only get right then and there, and it's gender neutral, then yes, you better believe I'd buy it up!

Great deal on that travel system, I noticed they had lots of clearance car seats at Target right now

The arm's reach cosleeper is one thing I'd really like to get but don't want to spend the money on a new one, so I would buy that. I've got a couple of things from coworkers like a sleep positioner that keeps the baby safe (especially if we wind up cosleeping in our bed); and someone gave me a free hand pump and a nursing cover.

Yeah I had one of those sleep positioners but I never ended up using it, we only have a queen size bed and DH is not a small guy so I think I could use the extra room
