I was curious so I asked DH to check where my uterus was (I tried but I have no idea what the heck Im feeling there anyway). He said he felt that "little hard ball" about 3 inches below my bellybutton. Now I know my uterus is supposed be bigger second time around but this seems pretty big and way higher then I'd think it be for 8 weeks. My dates can't be off so I'm pretty stumped as to why?

Have any of you tried to feel yours yet? BTDT moms, did you notice your uterus being bigger, sooner second time around?

With my 2nd & 3rd, I measured 4 weeks ahead, so at 8 weeks, I was measuring 12. It just pops sooner.

Haha! I just felt mine yesterday. It's 3 in. above and I'm only 5 wks. If I carried babies like a normal person I would be SO excited thinking it was twins...but no, I always measure 5-6 wks ahead at every measurement. I have a tipped uterus and they say that can be part of the reason.

Normally it doesn't "pop" above your pubic bone until around 11 or 12 weeks.

I can't feel it yet. With the baby I just lost about the end of 7 weeks I was able to feel it when I was laying in bed if I rolled on my belly.

Thats interesting!

I was measuring right on target last pregnancy and wasnt any bigger then I was "supposed" to be. I know every pregnancy is different.

They say that your fundal height doesn't reach the top of your pelvic bone until around 12 weeks for the average person. Around 16 weeks its close to your belly button. Of course this is for the average mom, so who knows.

Ditto this. I really couldn't feel anything until 12 weeks. And at my 11 week u/s she had a hard time finding the baby because he was tucked soo far under my pelvic bones.

Psh, I WISH mine stayed under my pubic bone until then! I might be able to actually wear my regular pants
I always show/pop earlier too, but this time with #3 it's crazy!

I can't feel anything yet. I didn't feel anything with my 1st until about 12 or 13 weeks.
