So I know there was a post about this a couple weeks ago or so, but now that were almsot 2 weeks away, whats everyones plans for Valentines Day?

For us, Devin will probably get off work early for my doctors appoitment thats at 2:30. While hes at work i'm going to cook this delicious devils food cake with home made chocolate frosting then white chocolate (dyed pink of course) frosting on the inside layers (probably a two or three layer cake) and surprise him with that. I have also been working on a super adorable little scrapbook about us up until this valentines day. Then his present is either going to be this amazing weiner dog pillow (his favorite) or this new rocket he wants (or maybe both if I can swing it. lol) all wrapped up all nice and purdy Then after my appt we will go to a movie then after that go out to dinner at the Outback (our date night resteraunt). Then some sexy time at home

So what about you guys?

We have nothing special planned were broke. I was thinking of making Nick his favorite dinner or something. I'd dress up in something sexy but I think I've outgrown it all lol.

We have nothing special planned either...we are broke also...and I have to work til nine that night, he leaves for work at 10. So we won't even get to spend it together really. It's not going to be very special

We've got our daughter with us and no one to watch her so whatever we do that evening will include her; possibly dinner out, or maybe I'll make us a nice meal. DH has been working as often as he can (he gets nuts about money when I'm pregnant) but I hope he can get home fairly early to spend some time with his girls.

Nothing as of yet. I would love to go to the Melting Pot, but that is really expensive. Who knows, maybe DH will plan something (lol)

We don't really celebrate holidays. I tell my DH that if he wants to get me flowers I want him to do it on his own accord, not because the calendar says so. It just doesn't feel very special when it's forced.

We dont celebrate Valentine day. Our anniversary is the following week and we've never been into celebrating v day.

We are going away for the weekend for our anniversary. And my dh has a terrible memory about his life so I make a scrapbook each year for him. That way he can remember...lol.

I have no idea. All I know is that DH better have something good planned. LOL. I'm going to be on bed rest during Valentine's Day and our anniversary. Normally we don't make a big deal out of those holidays because we'd rather spend the money going out as a family and getting something neat for the kids, but given that my days and nights consist of lying around the house I expect something special. Too bad DH can't cook.

I'm going to make his favorite dinner, and favorite dessert. Other than that, probably nothing since we're tight on money, too.

We'll either go out to dinner or I'll cook something nice here. We don't usually do much for V-day. I'll probably get DD a couple of little candies or something, that is more fun to me than celebrating it with DH, since it's just a hallmark holiday.

Other than being broke like everyone else here, I work the evening that day and as he's a teacher, we probably won't even see each other
If we do anything it'll have to be on another day. We'll probably go to our favorite Italian restaurant if we can.

DH is really good about Valentine's Day. He always does something sweet like having a bubble bath and chocolates for me when I get home from work. He leaves chocolate kisses around the house or little notes. He has taken me to the botanical gardens for a picnic. Something creative and inexpensive each year. I'm not as romantic but this year I think I am going to take him to a local club that has free salsa lessons and then salsa dancing all evening.
