I am getting AWFUL sleep at night. As soon as I get to sleep, I am awakened because one or both hands are asleep. I had this problem during my last pregnancy but it was toward the end of the pregnancy. I don't know how much longer I can take this!! I have carpal tunnel syndrome and of course when I was scheduled to see a specialist about it, I wasn't having any problems. The only thing I can do is wear arm braces while I sleep and that doesn't really help all that much
Pregnancy can induce Carpal Tunnel and if you already have it, pregnancy can aggrivate it. You need to talk to your dr to see if they want you to see an orthepedic or have some physical therapy. I chose the therpy when I was pregnant with my son and it helped ALOT.
I haven't had the problem when I'm sleeping, but it seems like my arms and legs have been falling asleep a lot recently for very little reason. Hope you can get something that will help you sleep better at night!
OMG!!! Yes!!! I have it! I didn't have it with DD so I didn't relize it was a pregnancy thing! it is getting so annoying I like to sleep on my tummy with my hands up under my pillow and I am waking up with both hands and wrists asleep!!! IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!! LOL!! As if I didn't have enough trouble sleeping as it is!
