So I've been doing some online baby shopping and the websites keep giving me a suggestion of dreft.

I only used dreft with L for the first bottle worth, then I said forget it and just used our laundry soap.

so will you use something like dreft? (baby or free detergent)

I did with DS but I don't think I will this time around. DS has really sensitive skin and he does fine with regular laundry soap so LO should too.

I use All free & clear for all our laundry because my skin is sensitive. And actually, I'm allergic to fabric softener so I use dryer balls in my dryer. Erin and Patrick have both been good with that.

I hate the smell of dreft, and I've heard it doesn't work as well.

I'll be using the regular stuff. Baby's stuff should be washed seperately right?

I used one bottle of Dreft when DD was born. I doubt I'll get it this time.

I only do if baby doesn't have much of certain things at first so I need to wash sooner then I normally would. other wise I just put their stuff in with mine (sorted by colors of course)

I always use Purex Babysoft for my newborns, I find its great for taking out puke, formula, and poop stains-and I wash my nb clothes separately.

I use All F&C detergent and Bounce Free softener with all of our laundry because the girls and I all have sensitive skin "down there." I'll wash the baby's stuff separately but will still use the same All detergent & Bounce softener.

I prefer using something like all free and clear because I have sensitive skin, I'll probably just use the same thing for baby.

I used Dreft a couple times with Gage and then switched to All for baby until he was a couple months old and started using what we use. I'll probably do the same with this one on the All for baby.

I wash baby's clothes seperately and use All Free and Clear for the first 6 months. Not just because of sensitive baby skin but also because supposedly washing baby's clothes and blankets in scented detergent is linked to asthma

I still wash my 3 year old and (almost) 2 year old's clothes seperately from Dh's and mine because baby clothes are so soft and sensitive and washing them with adult clothes tends to beat them up and wear them out faster.

nope I will use the same as every other day unless I notice a reaction I'm not switching. And if I did I wouldn't use the "baby" stuff its just over priced and the same as other free stuff. LOL

I will use All Free and Clear to start. Then I will see if the baby does ok with our normal detergent.

Nope, I try to avoid fabric softners at first, but I'll use our regular detergent for baby stuff.

No, I have either Free & Clear or 7th gen and Ecover detergent. Can't wash cloth dipes in regular stuff!
I also have regular Tide that I use sometimes.
