I barely know how to sew, but I do like to make rag blankets. I will be making one for this baby now that I found out the gender Where is the best place to buy fabric from online? I've gotten off e-bay before, but I hate wading through all of those auctions!

Thanks!

I usually pay full price online, with the occasional cheap fabric on eBay. I'll get some fabrics on eBay that I can't find on other websites, and I also buy fabric from sellers on Etsy and on Fabric.com. I try to buy it on sale at JoAnns or Hobby Lobby (you can buy it on sale on JoAnns, but it's rare to get free shipping, so you end up paying more overall) and you can also use coupons for thier full-price fabric if it's not on sale. I rarely buy a fabric full price there, so if you need some tips, let me know

I rarely buy online. If I do, I shop around etsy.com

I've always bought fabric at JoAnns. This isn't an option right now, but the day after THanksgiving they have AMAZING deals...like 1.99 a yard for flannel and half off fleece and stuff. I go every year and get some, but this year I think I'll really stock up!

That being said, JoAnns always has sales and they always email me coupons...you can sign up to be on their mailing list. I need to check ebay and stuff for fabric though, it may be cheaper! I've always shopped in store

Not really Heather, I never find fabric cheaper on eBay than I can get it on sale. I will buy it there if it's a hard fabric to find though. JoAnn's does have thier flannel 50% about once a month though, so it's $2.50/yd which is still a reall good deal.

JoAnn Fabrics is the only place I know that still carries fabric. Most Walmarts stopped carrying it a few years ago and we don't have a Hobby Lobby near us.
