Do you do any volunteer work?
What organization(s) do you work for?
What work do you do?

Well I don't know if this counts but I help at our church's youth program. I work with the 6-8 graders. They are a handful but so much fun!

I used to volunteer at the Humane Society, socializing the cats. When I started working full time I couldn't fit it in, and it took quite an emotional toll on me. I'd love to do it again sometime though.

I don't really volunteer my time but I donate to Helping Women Survivors of War Rebuild Their Lives | Women for Women International
It's $25 per month and it helps women in war torn countries be able to provide for themselves and their children.

Is it weird that I'm totally excited to be able to volunteer for my kids' school soon?

I volunteer doing IT work for Attachment Parenting International and I'm also a volunteer for Soldiers' Angels - mostly I just write letters to deployed military folks. I started doing this after my DH's best friend came home and committed suicide. I had to cut back a lot on my volunteering when I went back to work, and it's something I'm looking forward to being able to do again.

When I was a SAHM, I also did volunteer work helping to organizing a local SAHM group. Just being part of the group is awesome, and I can't wait to do it again!

NO! It's so fun, you get to be a part of their world, get that glimpse inside their day. it's just precious!

I volunteer once a month in Daniel's classroom. As I get further in this pregnancy, we'll see how that goes. I also run a Freecycle list.
