I am so happy! I went thrift store shopping since I'm still a size or 2 away from being in my pre-pregnancy clothes. I did killer! I found 9 express shirts and 2 pairs of american eagle jeans all for under 30 dollars! And it's so wonderful having clothes that fit and look good again.

And I was playing with our budget today and by the end of this year I will be able to free up 700 dollars a month for us and at the end of next month I'll already have freed up 400 dollars.

This puts me in a GREAT mood!!

That's amazing!! I so want some new clothes. Dh and I promised each other new clothes in May when we finish Insanity. I told him he has to come with me to the thrift store because I always walk out empty handed and bummed. That's all he used to shop at though-minus underclothes.

Wow! That's great!! Our thrift stores out here are still kind of expensive. They really jack up the prices of used designer labels just to make a few extra bucks. I may go down near Arizona State U, they have a few that sometimes have better prices since it's near the university.

I love thrift stores so much! I spend so much time in them though. It's great your DH is helpful when shopping, DF thinks everything looks good on me (or at least he says so because he wants me in and out of there) LOL. I used to be a clothing snob and think thrift stores weren't for me till I went with a friend and found the exact pair of jeans I paid 50 dollars for for 5 dollars. I'm so cheap LOL!

Check if asu has anything where college students get rid of clothes- a few universities do that around here in the summer. I have gotten things in good condition as low as 25 cents! I also do a lot of ebay shopping since there are 2 name brands I love (foxx and volcolm) but I'm not spending 40-50 on a tshirt.

Check out Old Navy! This week, they have quite a bit of the women's clothing on sale, most under 10 bucks! I just went and picked up a few things and picked up shorts for my five year old at $5 a pair.

I agree with the Old Navy super sales! I can usually get multiple OUTFITS.. and spend only 50 bucks... and Im saying 2/3 outfits for DD1 and myself. I love thrift stores for glassware and house stuff.. I have never really took the time to look through the clothes. I might go check it out this weekend since I just found out were going to DISNEY next week! Might try and find some shorts. Thanks for the tip!
