I am struggling with my new normal. I used to run at least 4 days a week and spin on another. since .my clot i cannot run and even walking hurts. i just want to get back out there and run but i cant. my leg hurts too muh. I pushed it yesterday and now i have a pain behind my knee and cannot work out at all today. it is also hard to realize that my leg is going to be swollen a lot and always bigger than the other. i measured yesterday and it was 2 inches bigger at my thigh. my butt is also bigger on that side and my jeans fit al weird....guess it is my new normal but im having a hard time agjusting to it!

I am so sorry, that all of that happened with your leg. When I had to have surgery on my back, I had to give up a lot of physical things I have always done, including never riding horses again. Giving up riding is no where near the adjustment you have to make and I can't imagine how hard it is for you to adjust to this new "normal"

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this

Is the swelling and pain a permanent thing? Or is it a matter of healing? Just want to know how best to pray for you!

Thanks so much girls. I am just feeling a bit down with it today. The swelling will most likely be around in some fashion, I am hoping it will calm down. I go back to the doctor on April 12th and hope to get some more answers.

I just have to keep reminding myself not to freak out that the pain behin my knee is a clot. It is most likely a ligament/muscle thing.
