I'm so happy - I found my birth outfit!! With my last pregnancy I bought a short little swim skirt to give birth in (water birth). It worked perfectly. I wore that and a sports bra. Well, I had no idea what I did with it. I just found it. This makes me so happy!

For you water birth mommies, will you not wear anything, or what do you plan on wearing?

When I water birthed with C I did it in the nude. that was not my intention. I planned on wearing my bra, BUT, I was having a rough labor and got in the whirl pool tub in the bathroom, and my bra got wet and it bugged me. so I took it off. I was in too much pain then to care about putting on a new one under the gown, so when I got in the tub, I was neeked but that was okay.

Glad you found it! If I were having a water birth, I'd probably just wear a sports bra.

I have a swimming suit top that has a skirt attached to the bra for modesty. I'll probably wear that. I sure hope I don't end up nakked--eek!

Sports bra or nothing. HAHA - maybe I'll go and try to buy a bikini top only.

I have NO idea. I'm assuming if anything maybe sports bra or swim top? But I can see myself being naked. This is assuming I do a water birth...I think the vast majority of women at the birth center wind up in the water.

I'm still trying to decide.
My boobs look awful so I'd like to have some sort of top on. However I also really want my babe to have skin-to-skin contact the second he arrives, so being nude on top would be easier.

I like your swim skirt idea!

I just wore a tanktop last time. I bought a maternity swimsuit for our trip though and might put that on to get into the water since it will be looser around my belly.
