I'm a little nervous about starting the pics already, but figured what the heck!! So I decided to put them all together to help show progression...it looks a little funny since I'm headless in the first 2, but oh well...it will get better as we move along!!

You'll be amazed how differently you grow after your first. I wished I looked like that after having a baby. Grow baby GROW.

OH thanks so much!!! I worked my butt off (literally) after having her so hopefully this time around I don't gain 46lbs like before!!!!

Thank you soooo much!!!! You should see my before and after pics from when I went to the trainer 8 week pp...I can't even believe it. hard work...but totally worth it! Just gotta make YOU a priority!

I know what you mean about working hard at it. I gained 68LBS with my son! (I started at 104 & gave birth at a whooping 172!) It was all belly & water so luckily it wasn't all that difficult to get rid of.. just have to keep busy and moving. You'll have to give us some tips on how to do it at week 8. I feel like my muscles didn't get back to normal for 3 or 4 months. It's like they were in the wrong places. haha. Maybe because I had a breech sunny-side up baby? The first pregnancy was SO much easier to bounce back from. What did your trainer start you off on? Will you continue to work out while pregnant (as much as we're allowed anyway)?

Wow you look great!! Your gonna have a cute bump! Your lil girl is sooo beautiful! I like what you said about making you the priority, I wish I had done that! I think I only kept 10lbs from 1st pregnancy with DS, but I'm hoping to kick my butt into workout after this lil one!

Thank you all so much!!! I hear ya about the muscles...I had a pretty traumatic birth and ended up with an emergency c section so I thought I would never do a sit up again...espcially not 8 week pp! But it came back so quick! At first it was so hard and I thought I would die of exhaustion, but I just had to stick with it. Once I put my mind to something, I'm ALL in!!! Plus I was paying the trainer an arm and a leg so I had him holding me accountable too! The biggest part I learned was about nutrition. I have a completely different outlook on food now so I'm hoping that will help. My trainer had me mainly focus on cardio at first since I had a lot of fat to burn from the pregnancy then added in more weight lifting, but like I said, the diet was the most important part of it all. I definitely hope to continue working out the entire pregnancy - at least walking 30 minutes a day. Last year, I competed in a sprint triathlon and this year I signed up again (before I found out I was prego) however, I so hope to do it again this year. I won't be going for a record time, but just to finish! Last pregnancy, I stopped working out all together around 6-7 months and I so regret it! I just gotta keep moving. My best friend is pregnant with triplets and is now 22 weeks and still gets her butt to the gym every single day so that's what I tell myself...if that girl can do it, why the heck can't I?!?! OK so I decided to post my before and after pics for you all to see...it can be done!!! Just 5 months after giving birth here is what I accomplished!!!




Here was my trainer...not to shabby huh!??! LOL
