Sooo delish!!! Great for party appetizers!! And VERY SIMPLE!!!
15 fresh jalapanos, washed and cut lengthwise (stems and seeds removed)
2 packages of cream cheese
1 cup of mozzerela cheese (shredded)
15 peices of bacon (cut in half)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Blend cream cheese and cheese in medium mixing bowel.
Take cheese mixture and spoon into peppers.
Wrap with bacon and place tooth pick through.
Place in shallow baking dish (bacon grease will be messy so something with sides works better!)
Bake untill jalapanos are semi soft and bacon is cooked (does not have to be crispy)
Remove from pan to serve otherwise greese looks bad lol!!!
Better served hot/warm!!
ALSO, you can cook these on the grill (foil or grill sheet)
They are, I always get request for them (and a buffalo chicken dip I make)!! I only use half a peice of bacon for each one because its less calories, and Ill sometimes use lofat cream cheese (DH hates it though lol). But you can use a whole piece for more bacony yumminess!!
Oh no!! Yeah I usually wear plastic gloves!! Sry!! lol. The first Time I made them was for a BBQ and I did it without gloves and about 30 minutes into the party I touched my eye, OMG the burning was horrid!! and I had washed my hands too!!
