Ok, so I think for the last few days Ive been craving salt and Ive been putting it on everything. To balance it out Ive been trying super hard to drink more water everyday. I know some people say that your cravings are just your body's way of saying you are lacking something important. (exmple: craving milk, ice cream, cheese could mean you are lacking calcium) So I asked my mom if you can become sodium deficiant and she said yes, but salt is so bad while pregnant cause it can cause both high blood pressure and water retention. I hope this salt craving passes soon!
On another note I did just get a new craving. My Gpa used to have his own farm and grew cucumbers. He could cut them into spears and soak them in vinigar and salt and OMG! So good. I want them, NOW! Maybe Ill go get a couple cucumbers tomorrow from the store..
Now that you menioned it, I too am craving salt. I didn't realize til now "thinking" about it, that I have been taking the salt shaker to the table with me. Hmmm. Another craving that is so good right now, baked potato with sourcream!!! With some salt, lol. I am usually the one that doesn't add extra salt.
I craved salty potato chips for the first few months, gained 12lbs.... and my BP remained normal, thankfully. Hopefully your BP is normal too! But salty does taste so much better right now, huh?
