Weekly Weigh In will just be a thread to post your progress for the week, no need to post your weight if you don't want to! Just let us know how you feel you're doing, and whatever else you'd like! Feel free to post pics as well. I will be, just because looking at a picture is for some reason totally different from looking at a mirror.

This is week 1 of my serious effort to get back in shape. So I've still got 20 pounds to go. I'm back at the gym. I did half an hour on the bike doing the cardio setting today, as well as sit ups and leg lifts, and a little bit of arm work.

Here are my pics for this week, taken in the gym's bathroom.

30 lbs. to go here. I've started walking for an hour and tightening my belly as I walk for some ab strengthening. Just gotta knock off the sweets!!!!

I started my ticker with my high pregnancy weight... If I don't see any progress right away then my motivation completely disappears! LOL
I'm 5'8 and have a large bone structure, so I'm not trying to get to 120 or anything

Here's the stats I'm looking at:
1 week before Phoebe was born (she was born on my weigh-in day, so I obviously didn't weigh in then): 229.0 (4/10)
1 week PP: 211.4 (4/24)
2 week PP: 207.0 (5/1)
3 week PP: 206.8 (5/8)
4 week PP: 205.0 (5/15)

Short term goal is to get back to 195 (pre preg) by the end of June
Long term goal is to get down to about 160-165

got close to 160lbs by end of pregnancy.
lost almost 20lbs by two weeks PP...got stuck after that.
starting at around 140lbs today.
my goal is my pre-pregnancy weight of 114-116lbs.


if any of you ladies have tips on getting rid of the post-prego belly jiggle, feel free to share!

I was 141 this morning, and my goal weight is 120 or so, 125 at the most. So 15-20lbs, it really depends how much muscle i can make of this fat! I have more of a goal of lean-ness rather than a number on the scale you know? Mostly i want to be super-fit and really toned!

I had a good weekend, went swimming and to the gym for bike and weights, and DH bought me new rollerblade wheels for mothers day which is awesome! So thats my plan. But today i ate WAY too many caramels so i guess i will have to just let that go and do better from now on!

I'll try and get a picture once im done here...im pumping milk as i type this

I have 75 to lose! Had a few pounds on me before I got preggo!!! Just had the baby last week so I have not lost yet...I'm retaining tons of water so I bet when I lose that I will lose at least 10!! My legs and feet are like cement blocks right now!!!

I weighed 132 when I got pregnant, 153 the day before I had him and I am stuck at about 141. I am so disgusted that I only lost 12 pounds after having the baby and that was the first week and a half. 132 is fine if I am in good shape/toned, but if I'm not I actually should weigh more like 125. I'm going to assume that I will work out and be satisfied with a goal of 130, but I would love to get there by mid July because I will be taking a trip that involves swimsuits in front of people!

Weight before delivery: 171
2 weeks PP: 156

Today's weight (2.5wks PP): 154
Goal: 130

I would really like to be back to my pre-pregnancy weight by the end of July. So far, I've been doing a little walking, but nothing much. Once I have my 6wk appt, I plan to start the couch-to-5k running program.

I have about 10 pounds to go. I have my 6 week PP check up soon so hopefully I'll get the OK to exercise! woo hoo! I am now 101lbs and my goal is 90 to 93-ish....but if I weigh more, that'll be fine if it's muscle and since I'm only 5'1, 90lbs looks normal on me I promise!

My last preg weight was 217. 12 days PP im down to 190. 167 was my pre preg weight so 23 to go!

I am probably the heaviest of all of us ladies, I am also 5 ft 8 if that helps to have a mental picture of my size

Delivery day 271.5 lbs
1 week PP 260 lbs
2 weeks PP 258.5 lbs
6 weeks PP 254.8 lbs

I was 240 when I got pregnant BUT would like to get back to the 190 I was BEFORE I started trying to get pregnant 9 yrs ago.

I ended my pregnancy at 152lbs currently I am at 123lbs.

my first goal is 110
final goal of 85-90lbs

When I got married last July 12, I was 135. When I found out I was pregnant July 26 I was 143 (loveeee the fact that we totally didn't take care of ourselves during those two weeks of R&R).

The day I had him I weighed in at 187.
As of today at my 6 week PP I am 150.
I would like to get back to 135, so I have 15 to go, but I would be happy if I got stuck at 140. It's not a bad weight on me.

I can never lose my butt. Now I have hips and butt.
I don't think I'm going to lose the last of the pregnancy weight til I'm done BF or well into it, though.

I'm too embarassed to post my weight but I lost 22 of the 26lb I gained by 1 week pp but in the past 2 weeks I haven't lost any more. I want and need to lose 54lbs to get to what I think would be an ideal weight for my height and then I will re-evalute how much more I need to go.
I am a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding the first week of August so I would like to look decent by then.
As soon as my bleeding stops I plan on going to Zumba classes and until then continue healthy eating and twice daily walks around the neighborhood.

I was 230 before this pregnancy (I am 5'10") before I started TTC I was 140! The constant stress, fertility meds and hormone fluctuations caused me to gain 100 pounds!

I was 260 3 days before Peter was born. I lost 15 pounds the first week postpartum and 10 the second. I've lost 5 pounds since.... So I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

Now that I am 6 weeks PP I plan to lose 80 pounds more so I can be back at my pre-TTC weight... I hope to be 150 before I get pregnant again.

On the day of my c-section, I was 212. Now I'm down to 195, pretty much pre-preggo weight. I'm 5'10" and I'd love to be around 175, maybe less. If I'm pretty fit and have good muscle tone though, I'll be happy at that weight.

gained 40 during pregnancy and in 2 weeks i have lost 25 lbs, 15 more to go! i would like to lose an additional 15 after that.

I weighed 135 pre pregnancy and as of yesterday, my scale said I'm 136! So excited. However, I'm hoping to get to 125. I'm not very tall and I believe my BMI with my height/weight was considered on the verge of being considered overweight. I'm rather pleased with the weight loss, bfing has done wonders! I had prepared myself to not lose the weight for 9 months.
