Is anyone else experiencing carpal tunnel this pregnancy? I had it bad towards the end of my last pregnancy and for a few weeks after I gave birth. And just like my OB said it would, it gradually went away. BUT I worked during my last pregnancy which required me to type all day. Now I'm a SAHM and my hands go numb/tingly at little things like washing dishes, driving (this one is the most irritating), and almost every night while sleeping. I hate that I'm getting it so early this time. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Yep, I have this problem, my hands go numb all the time. I hate it. I've never had this problem with my previous pregnancies. I try to keep my wrists flexed out while I sleep, apparently curling them inwards can make it worse.
Huge thanks to *Kiliki* for the FANTABULOUS new siggy!!
Yes..I've had the same problem as well. Not only does it randomly happen, but if I cross my arms, bend my wrists, cross my fingers for more than about 30 secs I go numb. And it happens all the time when I sleep.

I've had this but didn't know it was carpal tunnel. My new doc told me that I really need to wear a wrist splint for the rest of the pregnancy so that it doesn't get worse. So far, it's only really bad on my left, less dominant hand, but she said I'll probably start to get it on my right hand as well.
