I woke up this morning with what felt like a bug bite on my arm pit. It's not red and there is no head on it. Just swollen and painful. We just got home from Rockfest and now its bigger. What in the world is this?!
It could be an infected gland or something like that (not a doctor, so I might have it wrong) My friend had something like that in her neck and it ended up being an infection caused by her cat. She had 3 glands die! Or maybe they were lymph nodes. I cant remember. I dont really know the difference. She's fine, though. I think you should call the dial-a-nurse just in case!
I hope it’s not a bug bite and that it goes away soon! I would say it wouldnt be a bad idea, bug bite or ingrown/infected anything to put something like neosporin on it and try to keep your bra or clothes away from the area as much as possible to let it absorb the antibiotic cream and then breathe.
I would see the Dr cause it could be an infected gland, an in grown hair, a cyst or just a bug bite. But either way I would put on a comfy cotton sports bra, cotton tank, skip the deodorant on that side and go to the Dr
