Lurking from August DDC. I just wanted to say that only fast walking really gets things going for me, and I'm sure you can't do much of that in the hospital since there are usually people and items to avoid at all times. I've broken my water twice now with fast walking, I mean as fast and as much of it as I can take at one time.
Nipple stimulation with a pump worked for me also. I know they have pumps in the hospital, maybe they would allow you to borrow one and give it a try. Five minutes on one side with a 15 minute break in between, then the other side, worked for getting contractions going for me.
Hope something works out. Kind of strange that they won't let you go home since obviously nothing is really happening.
