Okay ladies I'm in some serious need of healthy delicious recipes. If you have some post them here. I need to try new stuff! I actually made two things the other night and they were so good.
Chicken caesar salad:
Shredded parmasean cheese
Frozen chicken strips (I get the grilled kind from Costco)
Litehouse light ceaser dressing.
Basically I clean the romaine, break it up with my hands, add about a tablespoon or two of dressing (just so it's lightly coated) a sprinkle of parmesan cheese and I cook the chicken and add a few pieces on top. It's soo good and I feel so satisfied.
Another recipe I have that is so good is roasted cauliflower. And you all need to try this. I hateee cauliflower and omg I love this soo much.
Take your cauliflower, chop it up into small pieces, lightly coat with olive oil and sprinkle with season salt. Put on a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. I usually see if the cauliflower is starting to brown I know it's done. Cauliflower should be tender and not hard anymore when done. I am not joking you this stuff is SOO amazing.
1 lb chicken boiled (I use boneless/skinless), cooled, shredded
2 green peppers diced
1 red onion diced
1 bag frozen corn
2 cans black beans
64 oz of V8 juice
2 tsp chili powder
franks hot sauce--- to taste. I use about 1/2 cup, but if you like less spice you can use less.
The whole recipe has 12 servings
calories 3325--- 278 per serving
fat 54.8g---- 5g per serving
carbs 506.9 g/90.5g fiber----42g per serving carbs/7.5g fiber per serving
protein 229.3g---19.1g per serving
I will make a pot and eat it for lunch for an entire week and usually take a couple bowls to my friend.
