okay so i have an ultrasound next wednesday for measurements
i'll be 15 weeks 6 days.
Do you think they'd tell me the gender?
I dont want to find out without my husband being there but i also dont want him to take time off work if we're not going to find out because his work doesnt let him get too much time off
what do you think?

If the tech is experienced enough they should have no problem telling the gender.

I'd call and ask then, because at that far along there should be no problem telling the gender as long as baby is willing to give you a peek!

I agree with AZsnowflake - just call and ask. Some wont do it unless that is what the appointment is for others will try if you ask.

They should be able to tell you, I found out at the same time that I was having a girl.

I found out that we were having a girl at 15w6d - though to make sure, I went to an independent ultrasound place a few days later so they could confirm it! Just hope baby cooperates and shows the goods! I drank a regular coke before I went in - figured the caffeine and sugar might get her moving! Guess it worked!

I have my next u/s scheduled and I will be 15w1d. The Dr told me he is doing the anatomy scan and going to do his best to find out the gender. KUP!
