Have you heard the heartbeat on doppler? The reason I ask is because if it was hard or impossible, maybe your placenta is in the front and it will be a long time before you feel the baby. My SIL is due end of July, and her placenta is in front and she still can't feel baby kick her stomach, she can feel her move and kick on the inside, but not in the front like normal. Normal range to feel the baby is anywhere from 18-22 weeks so you are probably still just early.
I am 18 weeks on Tuesday and I still haven't felt baby move I only had my gender scan a little over a week ago, so I know he is ok, but I know how you feel! I think some people are just more in tune with it, I didn't feel DD until right on 20 weeks, but once she started, it was really obvious and didn't stop......
I haven't felt anything yet either! At least nothing that I know is baby. Sometimes I feel weird little pains that are around where baby is but nothing like movement. Most people i talk to IRL say it takes a while longer, especially since it's my first.
Thank you Vicki... For the adorable siggy!
Everyone I talk to says it feels like a flutter or gas or your stomach dropping like it does when in an elevator. The flutter thing makes no sense to me. No idea what that means. I guess I will have to feel it to understand. I can't wait though! It is so exciting isn't it?
