Just wondering.....I think Mandy brought this up before but, I was just wondering how many of you have washed babies clothes/blankets etc. I just threw in one load today of her newborn/0-3month clothes and some receiving blankets and her sheet.....I just felt like getting something done....I am sure I will rewash her sheet when it gets closer so do you have stuff washed and put away?

I haven't washed anything yet. Most of our stuff is just out of storage from when Dalton grew out of it. I'll wash it around 37 weeks.

I washed and put away about half of the used stuff friends and family have given me. I will get to the other half washed when I get time....I feel like all I do is laundry with 3 other kids and a hubby! LOL I am sure the bedding I will wash right before my due date though.

I'll wash the stuff that has been in storage from DD, and I have a million diaper loads to wash, but I admit new stuff, unless it feels off, I don't wash.

I haven't washed anything yet, but I will when I hit full term so I can start organizing everything. Most everything is in bins, and there's a few new things, but I like to be sure it smells clean.

I got a ton of stuff from a consignment sale back in Feb and March and my aunt has given me a few bags full of clothes too. I haven't washed anything yet though. I'm waiting until I get the room straight and get baby girl a dresser. I'll start washing everything sometime are 36 or 37 weeks.

Whatever I buy used, I wash right when I get it. I haven't washed or taken tags of most of the new things, but they are hanging up with the rest. I have everything folded and hung up, but I might rewash everything in early August since it will have been sitting there for months. I guess I'll just see.

Well, I have nowhere to PUT it right now, so no I haven't. lol After we get all moved and the nursery set up so I can put it somewhere, I'll start washing. Probably not until August though.

All the stuff I have had in storage will get washed, even though it was washed before I put it away, because it's been there for nearly four years and stored stuff smells like it's been stored. lol

ALL new stuff will be washed. Erin and Patrick would break out in horrid rashes whenever I put something off the rack onto them for about the first 6 months. I won't wash those until right before she wears them though. Her coming home outfit and the couple of sleepers and stuff I take the hospital will be washed probably the day before I was induced.

I've only wasked the used stuff also. I've washed all the bedding and put it on the bed and washed blankets and bibs. I don't have much left to wash! I'd rather not wash the new stuff until baby comes that way I can see if she fits it, and if not I'll take them back.

I've washed some of the used stuff including cloth books and ran some toys through the dishwasher. Also I washed all his "first outfits" for the day or so after birth, as well as a few of the diapers.

New stuff I may or may not wash. I'm not paranoid of all the "store" germs that others talk about and also I don't want to remove the tags in case I want to return something. There's also a local thrift store in town that will buy baby clothes and they give me more money if tags are still on.

I've only washed the second hand things I bought. I'll do a bigger load at some point with all my old stuff (wash cloths, sheets, receiving blankets) as well.

I have washed everything, and have everything put away. I think I'd be a little more paranoid about washing the "new" stuff than the "used" stuff (if you knew the people) I've worked in a store before, I know where those clothes have been.... yikes. Definitely wash! I don't even wear things I just bought before I wash them.

I have washed, sorted, and put away everything. I'll probably rewash the 3+ months clothes when she gets closer being able to wear it.
