Well since we got our crib and changing table/dresser set for only $200. And we used leftover paint from our familyroom to repaint the baby's room. And I got lots of hand me down clothing and my sister and friend are throwing us a baby shower. So we splurged on 2 Coach purses that will double as diaper bags. But they were a Mother's Day/Birthday present to me from my hubby and we got them at the Coach outlet store which is way cheaper.....so it made it better.
Definitly the baby's furniture. We got it from a higher end baby store around here. We got the convertible crib, rails for when it goes to a full size bed, dresser, hutch, nightstand all for a little under $2000. Since it was a floor model sale and we paid in full in cash we got a crib mattress and diaper changing pad for free. That will be the most expensive thing this baby has! Everything else has been bought from a yard sale or a discount store. Also, we haven't had the shower yet, so.
