-Ingredients-

-1c milk
-1c self-rising flour (or bisquick)
-1c white sugar
-1 stick unsalted butter (if you use salted, be prepared to eat a lot of ice cream with your serving)
-1 can fruit filling

-Prep and Bake-

Heat oven to 350F. In 9x9 or 8x8 baking dish, set the stick of butter in the middle then put the dish in the oven while it's preheating.

In a bowl mix the milk, flour, and sugar. Yes, it'll be soupy.

When the butter is completely melted take dish from oven and pour batter directly in the center of the dish, do not try and spread out, it will do it itself. Then take the fruit filling and spoon the fruit onto the batter some will sink, some won't no biggie), making sure to leave 1/2 to 1 inch of room between the sides of the dish and where your spooning the fruit (this is so you get a nice thick crust on the outside).

Place in oven for 30-45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and no longer doughy. Serve with vanilla ice cream!

This recipe gives you a fluffy, slightly crispy, buttery crust that is so sinfully delicious. Super easy to make.

**Note**

If you use apple pie filling, you will most likely have to add spices. So you'll need to put them in a bowl and add the spices you want like cinnamon and nutmeg and mix it before spooning it onto the batter.
