What are you having?

We are making steak but we haven't decided on what I want on the side yet.

I'm making braised chicken in white wine and olive oil with red and green peppers and rosemary. Probably will have garlic mashed potatoes and aspargus on the side. It's one of my husband's favorites!

Pizza and bread sticks (Digirno). Right before I was making dinner my friend called with her typical "what are you doing".... And when she starts out with that and not even a "hi" I know she wants me to watch her kids.... So instead of making something complicated, I made pizza. One day I will either say no, expect her to return the favor, or no longer do it for free.

The kids are good though and keep my minions amused. So it actually is kinda nice having them over. Although I know she is taking advantage of me.

We went to a local restaurant. I had chicken fried steak, mashed taters, fried okra, and baked beans.

A little late here, but we had "140 calorie chili" with more meat in it than the original recipe calls for. I love that stuff! It is so good and good for you. We had it with rice for a change.
