It started on Monday and has come at me full force today. Nothing is helping. My dr prescribed Pepcid but it's not helping. I have been eating Tums like they're candy and that's not helping. I even tried drinking a cold class of water and milk. Still no relief. Can anyone help with any home remedies or medicines they've taken to help relieve heartburn?

Get some apple cider vinegar, take about a shot of it. Once you stop convulsing from the horrible taste - the heartburn will be relieved. It's nasty, but it works (and it's good for you too). It's the only thing that helps mine when it gets bad. And the only thing that somewhat helps the reflux I get in the 3rd trimester.

Good to know about the apple cider vinegar! I have bad acid reflux during pregnancy and it was so bad last time, that my doctor put me on Zantac.
