What have your lo's outgrown (other than clothes and diapers!)

First it was the basinette, and now its the swing! YIKES!

The other day - I had him sleeping soundly in his swing, and I went upstairs to put away some laundry. I heard the slightest noise, like Michael sighing, so I looked over the overlook - and he was sitting STRAIGHT UP in it! The kind of swing I have - is the kind you do NOT want them sitting up in! I would have jumped over the overlook if I could - lol - I had to run down the stairs though (a mama with broken legs wouldn't have been much help in getting him into a safe position!)

So - my inlaws come over to watch him during the week - and they are 70ish, and it is so hard for them to bend down far... so I just warned them that they need to keep a close on on him, and if he wakes up - he may sit up. Eventually though, they are going to have to put him down in his pnp for a nap (which is gonna be hard on their poor backs!)...

Next on the list of outgrowing big items - will be his Chicco keyfit, I only got the 20 lb limit one, figuring I wouldn't want to carry him around once he is over 20 lbs. He is 18 lbs. I hope he starts growing a little more slowly! Maybe once he is active. His jumparoo is still on the low setting, and that only goes up to 25 lbs!!!

We have packed away the bassinet and swing and the bouncy seat is on it's way out. I believe our carseat goes up to 32lbs (he is over 20lbs) so I am considering putting him in his new seat for comfort as we don't really use his infant seat as a carrier anymore.

So far we have not outgrown anything just yet....he is not a fan of as many things though. The swing is going to be the first thing but mine holds up to 30 pounds and E is only 15ish. But we stayed at a friends house and she bought him a bouncer to use while we were thing, it was 3 bucks, and he barely fit in it. His little toes almost touched the floor. Luckily my bouncer/swing is a bit bigger than that. He really isn't into the playmats anymore as he just likes to rol roll roll...so I think those will be packed up first. I am also thinking he might need a new carseat sooner rather than later but more because his poor legs are sooo long. He is almost as tall as his 16 month old cousin...insane to me.

We've put away one bouncy seat and the bassinet. She is really looking huge in her swing. I don't know what the weight limit is but her head is getting close to the top and her toes almost peek over the edge. I remember how small she looked in the swing the first time she was in it. She loves the jumperoo. She was going crazy bouncing in it today. She actually jumps now instead of this rocking move she did when we first started with it. I was cracking up watching her go crazy!

This makes me so sad.. I was just thinking of putting away her swing, I felt like she wasnt in it that long! We haven't put her in it for days now, her little feet go over the edge too. The bassinet has been long gone for a while now, along with the bouncy seat but she HATED the bouncy seat. Can't believe how fast time is going

We are lucky, we haven't had to put anything away yet and she still fits in everything. The playmat will probably be the first to go, as soon as you lay her down she just rolls over but she still likes the toys that dangle. She's still kinda tiny I guess (26 in and 14.5 pounds). She has plenty of room in everything.

We've been talking about putting the swing away. It takes up space and she really doesn't use it anymore.

The bassinet is the only thing we don't use anymore. DD has so much room to grow in the swing, the seat is so big I swear it could fit a toddler. She also has a rocking chair/bouncer with a very deep seat b/c it converts to a toddler chair and she still likes that a lot too. OH we also put away the bassinet stroller attachment.

The bassinet is just holding toys right now. I'm ready to put the swing up. It takes up too much space and she's never liked it anyway. And, I've been noticing that the infant car seat is getting a little small, which makes me so sad because I remember the first time we put her in it at the hospital she was soooo tiny in it, the car seat practically swallowed her then.

I think they only two things we outgrew so far is the rock n play, and that's just cuz she wants to stretch out now, and the bjorne because it got to be too hard on my back. She's in the mai tai now.
Here's a mind bender for you!!
Ella was 17 pounds at one year old... So was I.

We are still, more or less, using everything - minus the bassinet, she's in a crib now.

The only thing she has out grown was the Rock n Play. I am afraid she is going to out grow her car seat in the next 4 months or so if she keeps growing this fast!! Oh my peanut! <3

We have the Chicco Keyfit too, I think that will be packed up soon. He still goes in the bouncer but I dont think it'll be long til he's out of it, either. He loves the fishies on it! He still squeezes into the bumbo, but his porky little thighs are quickly running outta room there too!
