Yeah ditto pp, people actually buy what's ON your registry?? How thoughtful of them! Haha... with dd nobody bought anything on our registry, but all was needed anyways and we returned duplicates. With this one they specifically asked what we needed and it was very late in the game planning baby shower so literally everything I needed was bf related. I was waiting to buy all that because I knew I wouldn't need it RIGHT away, not for a few weeks after baby was born. My registry literally consisted of new tubing for my bp, new membranes, some new nipples (for the bottles!) lily padz (boob pads) and disposable boob pads (I forget the real name). Surprise surprise nobody bought any of it! However a few people put there money together and just gave us cash to buy what we didn't get. Then my MIL gave us a ton of bm bags but she didn't get the kind off my registry and the store won't accept returns on "person hygeine" items so now I got what probably cost her $40 of BM bags that I'd really rather have a different kind (the kind I put on my registry....) but she tried!
Anyways, basically I gave them all no choice but bf stuff and except for my MIL they still opted out! My MIL was a bit like "oh well how fun is this" but I was all about it anyways, that's what I needed!!!!

No one got me the big $270 pump, but my aunt got me the Medela hand pump I registered for. I figured I'll probably rent an electric one for a month and see how much I like it and/or use it and then I may just buy my own. But since I won't be working full time, I may not need it. So we'll see!
Well no one got me my breast pump I had on my list, well a matter of fact no one got anything off my list LOL, anyways. I don't think its weird at all, only thign I could think of why someone wouldn't get it if it was pricey, but besides that I don't see why someone wouldn't get it.
