So my DH is the procrastinator from you know where and hasn't been on board with really talking about names. We had the middle name picked from day one, but the first name has been a little hairy:

At first we really liked Levi Garrett....but then I decided I didn't like the name much because it just seems "little-boyish" to me....

Then we liked Jacob Garrett (Jake)...but oh so common...

We hadn't really made much ground after that. Some random ones like Cole, Canyon, etc. Last night we were talking and I told DH how I hated that it seemed the baby was most likely going to end up being Jacob, even though I like the name. DH and I both have ULTRA common first names (mine's Amy, his is David). Plus, add insult to injury, or last name is Wilson. Common!

So randomly, DH says, "What about Finn?"

Hmmmm......

The more I think about it, the more I like it. I can actually picture myself with a son named Finn. I can picture hanging those little wooden letters in the baby's room spelling out the name Finn. It's a little off the wall - but I think I like it.

Finn Garrett.

What do you think?!?!?!

It's fine, Finn is getting to be a very popular name for both boys and girls. I actually like Levi Garrett best of the 3 you listed.

I like Finn! DH and I probably would have had Finn on our list of boy names, if I had ever let him create a list of boy names.

Finn Garrett Wilson sounds like a great name for your little guy. You and DH could always finalize the name once you meet him too. I know for us with DS, we had three first names, but didn't finalize it until we met him and decided which name fit him best.

Finn (well, Phineas) was on our early list of names once we found out we were having a boy. It didn't make the cut in the end, obviously, but we both still liked it a lot. I have a good friend who had a little girl last year named Finley (her nickname is Finn) and it's such a cute name, boy or girl.

I like it! Would you consider Finley or Finneas (Phineas) or are you guys just going to do Finn?

Another (very unique sounding) version in Finnbar which you could shorten to Finn. Or Fintan.

It sounds great, I think! I've always loved the name Levi, as well- my closest cousin's name is Levi. But Finn is great, too- and I don't want to ruin it, but you do know one of the main characters on "Glee" is Finn, right? Which to me, wouldn't bother me, but I didn't know if it would someone else. DH wouldn't consider Bella or Annabelle for Annalise because he felt it was too common due to "Twilight", so kinda the same thing. I do really like the name Finn though!
