Just when I thought I had plenty on my plate one more thing happens! My poor two ur old broke his leg last night. He will have to be casted for at least 6 weeks.....up to his hip! I hope to get a toddler wheelchair for the summer because he was hard enough to carry around without a heavy cast on! My poor kiddo....right at the beginning of summer too!

Oh Julie, that sucks. My brother did that when he was 3. Not fun. I hope he feels better soon. Why do kids think it's ok to break something when so many other things are going on?

I have to ask because I was surprised when my dd broke her arm. Is the cast waterproof?

Poor thing...my son last year broke both of his bones in his arm from playing off of a popcorn tin the kind they have at xmas time....thank goodness he missed his growth plate but just barely.....even now the arm he broke is smaller and more toned then the one he didn't....his wriste to his broken arm and elbow are also more sensitive to changes in the weather or when he gets hurt...mine had to havew surgery to reset his arm....he was in a full arm cast all summer and we live in the desert
