GSLynn mentioned in my other thread that I could have irritable uterus...

So I googled it....

OMG.. this is completely what I have!

-very painful contractions that are kind of contraction-y but never really go away
-often more than 4 in an hour (if I called everytime I had more than 4 in a hour I would be in L&D all the time)
- lower back pain
- watery leakage (sorry, but it true!)
- pelvic pressure
- usually dont cause you to dialate (as far as I can tell Im still high and closed up)
- can be cause by BV (which I had about a month ago)
-nausea
- menstrual-type cramping

THIS IS ME!!!!!!

Does anyone know anything about it?! it says that most people dont dialate from the contractions... but some do...

Should I bring it up with the doc? do you think I should bump up my appointment or can it wait till my next one at 36.5 weeks?

Anyone ever have this?

I'd call the OB and ask what they recommend. Usually, there are tricks to calming the uterus down. Sometimes, the work, other times they don't.

One thing is magnesium (I take Mylanta, plain). It relaxes your uterus. You can also take warm bath, lightly massage your belly and drink tons of water.

I'm sorry you have this, it's ANNOYING!
