Hi Ladies,
This is a little but TMI, but where else can you be TMI if not here, right?
So, I didn't experience this with my first pregnancy and I'm wondering if it is maybe a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) pregnancy thing. But...is anyone swollen 'down there'?
I'm especially swollen and aggravated and itchy after DTD, but this is a few days later and I'm still swollen. I feel like when I walk I want to walk with my legs far apart so that I'm not rubbing things and aggravating it more...sorry, tmi...
I guess I'll call my Dr tomorrow, but just wondered if anyone other btdt mums are experiencing this?

This is my first, but I've been experiencing the same thing. From what I understand it's due to increased blood flow to the region and is perfectly normal.

It's perfectly normal, although I haven't had the itching. THis is my third and I've been swollen since 10 weeks. The joys of pregnancy!

Yep, I have the same thing. I was sooooo worried that it's just another yeast infection coming, but the itching comes and goes... the swelling stays. It's strange!

The swelling is normal. I had it before and do now as well, just not as bad.

Agree with all the other ladies. Swelling is perfectly normal, due to blood flow. I also experience itching, especially after DTD, but if it gets too bad, it could be a yeast infection, so keep your eye on it.

ME! Hate it! Actually is the cause for me disliking DTD. It is all "too much, " but perfectly normal.

I wasn't swollen with my first pregnancy down there. But I have been since early on this time. Bad. I literally cringe if I have to squat down for anything because the pressure is almost unbearable. And I feel even more swollen for a couple of hours after DTD. I'm scared to see what it even looks like at this point with all the extra blood flow. LOL!

Me too! I wasn't like this with my first, but now it's crazy...I have ventured a mirror look-see...and I wasn't too impressed! Needless to say, I don't feel to "sexy" in the bedroom, so DTD has decreased significantly!

What everyone says about increased blood flow is exactly what my OB said when I asked her.

I have it this time too. The funny thing is that I didn't have with my first two.

I do remember the swelling from past pregnancies and yup! Sure e ough afterdtd yesterday, holy swollen, ugh.
It is normal due to the extra blood flow, likeeveryone said.
Not sure about the itching, have not experienced that.
